This model is 3d printed to a high standard in PLA.
This model is not based on any particular real-world reference.
This purchase is JUST for the bar. The cash register and bottle shown in pictures are for example placement only and are sold separately in the ‘National’ Cash Register and Bootleg Booze sets respectively.
This kit is 11 parts and will require some skill to assemble – in particular the use of a hot knife for trimming parts, dry fitting the position of the foot rail and skimming the top surface of the bar with surfacing putty.
It can be assembled with the corner either at left or right.
Scale is approximately 1/50, but tending to the larger side.
It is ideal for 28 – 32mm wargaming from medieval through to WW2.
This means it would not look out of place on an american ‘O’ / 1:48 layout, or in a 1/4″ scale doll’s house setup.
Models are supplied unpainted. Some cleanup will be required.
Cleanup is most easily done with a sharp, new #11 blade.
This works well heated to remove the supports from the footrail with less chance of breaking the part!
PLA can be glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
PLA is a relatively hard material at room temperature and can be filed and gently sanded with ease.
Solvent can also be brushed on to soften the surface for a smoother finish. Allow this to dry before touching the surface.
Models are under constant revision and improvement and may vary very slightly from pictured.
